Nitrous Oxide
AKA:"Laughing Gas"
Nitrous oxide is a gas that is used to supplement other medications during general anesthesia. By itself, it is not strong enough to cause general anesthesia. Unlike dentists, anesthesiologists rarely use it on conscious patients; thus they don't "laugh".
